Telx, a leading provider of global interconnectivity, data center solutions, and cloud enablement services, and Level 3 Communications, a premier global communications provider, have teamed up to expand cloud connectivity for businesses. Through the Telx Cloud Xchange, users now have access to the diverse and widespread ecosystems of both companies, bridging a gap between service providers and potential customers.

Anchored by fiber networks on six continents, Level 3 Global Communications provides metro assets across 500 markets in more than 60 countries. Telx's data-rich platform spans 22 facilities and 14 markets. By coupling this robust Cloud Connect Solutions portfolio with Telx's platform, customers will receive unmatched secure, private, and scalable network capabilities.

Further, cloud services will be accessible through the interconnection facilities in Telx’s data centers, giving customers direct access to services by cross connection or virtual connection.

“Telx excels at providing reliable, secure connections for service and cloud providers alike,” said Chris Downie, CEO of Telx. “This partnership with Level 3 extends both of our ecosystems, enabling customers to quickly and efficiently access and globally deploy a range of public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions.”
